Privacy Policy for T3 WMS-RFT
Pre-publication notice: The reviewed build currently sends sign-in credentials and operational data to a configured server over plain HTTP. Google Play requires personal and sensitive data to be transmitted using modern cryptography such as HTTPS. Do not publish this policy or promote the build to production until the server endpoint has been migrated to HTTPS, its certificate has been validated, and this notice has been removed.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Softworld Technology Sdn Bhd ("Softworld," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when authorized workforce users use the T3 WMS-RFT Android application (the "App"). The App supports warehouse receiving, put-away, order picking, cycle counting, delivery confirmation, barcode scanning, and proof-of-delivery workflows.
The organization that provides a user with a T3 WMS-RFT account may be the primary controller of workforce and warehouse data. Users should also review that organization's privacy notices and policies.
2. Information handled by the App
- Account and authentication information: user ID, password, preferred language, session status, and sign-in time.
- Warehouse and delivery information: delivery order, ASN, sales order and ticket references; storer, item, pallet, LPN and warehouse-location codes; quantities; pack codes; status; remarks; and other transaction details.
- Barcode and QR-code information: codes captured with the device camera or entered manually.
- Photos and signatures: delivery acknowledgement photos and signatures supplied for proof-of-delivery or cancellation workflows.
- Location information: approximate or precise device location when a user uses location-dependent features and grants permission.
- Technical and diagnostic information: local error details, app version, device and operating-system information made available through normal network requests, IP address, and server access logs.
The App does not contain advertising or a third-party advertising SDK. The reviewed source does not include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
3. How information is collected
Information is collected when users enter it, scan a code, take or select a delivery photo, draw a signature, grant location access, or perform a warehouse transaction. Other information is received from or sent to the T3 WMS server configured by the user's organization. Google Maps and Google Play services may process information needed to provide maps and device-location features.
4. How information is used
- authenticate authorized users and maintain sessions;
- perform and record warehouse receiving, storage, picking, counting, delivery, and cancellation workflows;
- validate item, order, pallet, LPN, ticket, storer, and location information;
- capture proof of delivery, including location, photos, and signatures;
- display maps and relevant warehouse or delivery locations;
- maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot failures, and support users;
- comply with contractual, accounting, audit, safety, and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal or sensitive user data and do not use it for interest-based advertising.
5. Android permissions
- Camera: used to scan barcodes and QR codes and capture delivery acknowledgement photos. Camera access is requested at runtime.
- Approximate and precise location: used for location-dependent maps and proof-of-delivery features. Access is requested at runtime and can be withdrawn in Android settings.
- Internet and network state: used to communicate with the configured T3 WMS service and load supported map features.
App-specific delivery photos and diagnostic files may be stored in the App's private external-files area. Broad shared-storage and phone-state permissions are not requested by the current build.
6. Disclosure and sharing
Information may be disclosed to the user's account-providing organization; Softworld personnel and contracted hosting, security, maintenance, and support providers; Google where Google Maps or Play services are used; authorities or other parties when legally required or necessary for safety and security; and a successor organization in a relevant business transfer.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. The production App must transmit personal and sensitive information through HTTPS with a valid certificate, restrict access to authorized personnel, and protect credentials and server access. No security measure is perfect. Users should protect their credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
8. Retention and deletion
Warehouse, delivery, account, server-log, and audit information is retained according to the instructions and legal or operational requirements of the organization responsible for the relevant deployment. Retention periods may differ between customers.
Local session information remains until the user signs out, clears App data, or uninstalls the App. App-specific photos and diagnostic files may remain until removed by the App, user, device management, or uninstallation. Information submitted to the configured server is governed by the responsible organization's retention schedule.
The App does not offer public self-service account registration. Accounts are normally managed by the user's organization. To request access, correction, deletion, or restriction, contact the account administrator or use the details below. Requests may be subject to verification and legal retention duties.
9. International processing
Information may be processed in countries where the user's organization, Softworld, or their service providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
The App is an enterprise workforce tool and is not directed to children. It is not intended for anyone under 18 unless expressly authorized and lawfully managed by the responsible organization.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated policy will show a revised effective date and will be available through the App and the public Google Play policy URL.
